Brentwood Corn

Fresh CornOur local Brentwood corn is here–sweet, firm, and delicious. Perfect for grilling, boiling, or steaming. It’s a tasty addition to your summer picnics, barbecues and parties.

Brentwood is famous for its corn. The rich Brentwood agricultural soil and temperate climate of the Delta is ideally suited for growing corn.

The local farmers take full advantage of these perfect growing conditions, and hand-pick their corn each day. That’s important because corn can lose over 25% of its sweetness shortly after picking.

For those of us who are serious about corn and serious about fun, visit the Brentwood Corn Festival this weekend with great food, music, local wines and microbrews, arts and crafts, carnival, entertainment, and kids activities. Plus help break the Guinness World Record for the most people husking corn on Saturday afternoon.
