Oakland First Fridays = Art, Music, Food, Community, and Celebration!

First Fridays is in full swing. This week is their 11th anniversary event, dedicated to the Oakland Ghost Ship. So, get out on Friday night before the next winter storm hits.  Also it’s free, and open to the public.

On the first Friday of every month, they host an evening art walk featuring over 40 galleries and venues.

Member galleries are collectively open from 6 to 9 PM. And the festival along Telegraph Avenue features food and music (between Grand and 27th Street).
