Redondo Iglesis Jamón Serrano Ham

Redondo Iglesis Jamón SerranoRedondo Iglesis Jamón Serrano Ham is a passion in Spain

There, almost any restaurant and tapas bar features hanging Serrano hams. They have a complex flavor and mild saltiness that make jamón one of our favorite tapas. The Serrano hams are dry aged to have a very low water content and then hung in mountain curing rooms where they develop deep, complex flavors. The hams and cured only with sea salt (no nitrates).

Our favorite way to enjoy Jamón Serrano is simple—on a warm platter with some good crusty bread and a glass of Spanish wine. A bocadillo sandwich is another classic Spanish treat: simply cut a fresh baguette in half, drizzle with olive oil and add Serrano ham, and perhaps some cheese. Once you get the taste for jamón, there are dozens of ways to enjoy it.
