Old Ironside

An Old Ironside cocktail with a wedge of lime

The Old Ironside cocktail, named after an historic Naval ship, is perfect for celebrating the July 4th Holiday weekend. Sweet pineapple juice, spiced rum, and a splash of fresh lime juice balance the flavors perfectly.

About Old Ironside
The USS Constitution, also known as Old Ironsides, is a three-masted wooden-hulled heavy frigate of the United States Navy. She is the world’s oldest commissioned naval warship still afloat.

Launched in 1797, she was one of six original frigates authorized for construction by the Naval Act of 1794. Constitution is most noted for her actions during the War of 1812 against the United Kingdom when she captured numerous merchant ships and defeated five British warships.
