Groix & Nature Salmon Rillettes is creamy but light and flavorful without being overpowering. Think of it as salmon’s answer to paté. It is impressive, yet deceptively simple to make. They make a delicious casual appetizer, are fantastic on picnics,  and make a great pasta stuffing.

Try it with a fresh baguette and some arugula or other fresh greens. For an appetizer, cut up some baguettes, spread them with rillettes, and place them on a serving platter with things like olives, pickles, pepperoncini, and pickled onions and peppers. Great paired with chablis.

What is Rillettes?
Rillettes is meat, fish or poultry that’s been chopped or shredded, seasoned with salt and pepper and preserved slowly in fat, olive oil or butter to make a thick spread for sandwiches, crudité or pasta stuffing.

And, if you want to sound très French, pronounce it ree-YET.
