The Wizard of Oz (1939) was brilliantly adapted from L. Frank Baum’s venerated children’s book. It won Oscars for Best Original Song, Best Original Score, Best Cinematography, and Best Picture. This beloved musical fantasy is the most watched movie in history.

It’s been more than 70 years since Judy Garland as Dorothy set out with The Scarecrow, The Cowardly Lion, and The Tin Woodman along the Yellow Brick Road. The universal appeal of The Wizard of Oz remains undiminished.
