The Semifreddi’s baguette has its place at the table for any meal, casual or elegant. Semifreddi’s baguettes are just flour, water, salt, and yeast, how can this taste so good? We don’t know what we’d do without them!

Semifreddi’s mission sums up why we love them.

Plus they are East Bay Local.

Semifreddi’s Sweet Baguette contains no sugar, yet has a clean, sweet taste. Inspired by the baguettes of Paris. Great for sandwiches, picnics, and meals.

Semifreddi’s Sourdough Baguette has a lovely balance of sour flavors. The caramelized, crisp crust contrasts with the sour tang of the crumb.

Semifreddi’s Sourdough Seeded Baguette has an added dimension using fennel, sesame, and poppy seeds. This seed mixture adds a complexity to the crust. Although many eat it by itself, it greatly enhances any meal.

How to store your Semifreddi‘s Baguette
After the first day, baguettes will keep well in a plastic bag in a cool, dry place for several days. To bring back the crust, pop it in a warm oven for 5 minutes. And of course, there is always toast! Remember, do not refrigerate–it dries bread out. If you’re looking to keep the love alive, simply freeze your bread and reheat to refresh.

How to freeze
Baguettes should be wrapped tightly in foil and placed in an airtight plastic bag.

How to defrost
Thaw the baguettes in foil and plastic bag (to keep natural moisture in) at room temperature. Dampen crust and bake at 350º F for 8 minutes.
