This Apple Hinny is a perfect cocktail to transition into fall. It may not exactly be sweater weather yet, but we can pull up a chair and taste the seasons changing. This recipe is reminiscent of the flavors of apple pie.

Apple Hinny
Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces Vodka
1 ounce fresh Granny Smith apple juice
1/2 ounce Fever-Tree ginger beer
1/2 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice (amount adjusted to taste)
Freshly grated nutmeg

Directions
Combine all the liquid ingredients in a shaker, shake vigorously. Pour into tall glass, over ice.

Grate a dusting of fresh nutmeg on top, and garnish with an apple slice.
