U-pick farms are in East Contra Costa County are in full swing, and this weekend would be perfect for some apple picking in Brentwood.

September is a great month for apples, but there are also berries, grapes, beans, melons, stone fruit, persimmons, pomegranates, pumpkins, squash, and tomatoes. Plus, there is more already picked produce to purchase from the farms.
