There is plenty of ways to do July 4th in the Bay Area. We’ve got parades and music as well as porch and car decorating contests. So, if you are interested in some old-fashioned fun, there is plenty to be had.

Fireworks
Because of the drought, many cities have cancelled local fireworks displays. But, SF will still be launching theirs from barges in the bay and they can be visible from many locations around the water (depending upon the fog).
