We like to make the lemonade by the pitcher, and then add a shot of vodka to each glass. That way you can adjust the amount of vodka for the individual, and leave some lemonade for your designated driver (or the kids). But, you can always just stir in a cup of vodka to the pitcher before serving.

Ingredients
1/4 cup dried lavender flowers
1 1/2 cups boiling water
3/4 to 1 cup sugar (depending on desired sweetness)
the juice of 10 freshly-squeezed lemons
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
2 Tbsp. water
6 cups cold water
8 1-ounce shots of vodka.
Ice

Directions
Place the lavender in a heat-proof bowl and pour boiling water over it. Steep for 5-10 minutes, depending on desired strength. Strain the lavender, stir the sugar into the lavender water, then pour the mixture into a pitcher over ice.

Add the freshly-squeezed lemon juice into the pitcher with the cold water and stir.

In a blender, puree the blueberries with 2 tablespoons of water. Add puree immediately to lemonade and stir well. Adjust sweetness to taste.

Serve in tumblers garnished with a few fresh blueberries on a toothpick.
