This summery, Bourbon Peach Smash cocktail is made with fresh peach slices, mint, and a touch of ginger— it’s great for sipping outdoors.

We recommend using La Quintinye Vermouth Royal. And choose one of these two excellent bourbons: Knobb Creek 100 Proof Small Batch Bourbon or Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Bourbon.

Bourbon Peach Smash

Ingredients
2 Slices fresh peach
1 Handful fresh mint
1 ounce simple syrup
1 1/2 ounce bourbon
Splash sweet vermouth
Ginger ale

For the garnish
1 Sprig mint
1 Ginger slice

Directions
Add the peaches, mint and  simple syrup to an old-fashioned glass and muddle vigorously. Add the bourbon and a splash of sweet vermouth.

Pack the glass with large chunks of ice, and top with ginger ale. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a ginger slice.
