Cajun Lemonade Recipe
Yields about 8 drinks

Ingredients
12 ounces white rum (we used Meyer’s)
4 ounces Pimm’s No. 1
8 ounces fresh lemon juice
4 ounces Simple Syrup
1/2 tablespoon hot sauce
Ice
8 ounces chilled 7-Up

Garnish
Thin lemon wheels
Lemon verbena or lemon balm

Directions
In a large resealable container, combine the white rum, Pimm’s lemon juice, simple syrup, and hot sauce. Place in the refrigerator and call for at least one hour.

When chilled, cover tightly and shake. Then pour the lemon mixture into an ice-filled pitcher.

Strain the lemonade into ice-filled rocks glasses leaving a little room to top each glass with the chilled 7-up. Garnish with a lemon wheel and lemony herbs such as lemon verbena or lemon balm.
