Casamigos Tequila and Mezcal

Casamigos TequilaActor George Clooney and restauranteur Rande Gerber created this brand after years of testing. Their concept was to create the best tasting, smoothest Tequilas and Mezcal, that don’t have to be covered up with salt or lime.

Casamigos small, batch, ultra-premium tequila and mezcal are made from the finest, hand-selected agaves, slowly cooked, extra slowly fermented, with a special proprietary yeast blend, and aged in previously-used whiskey barrels.

Casamigos is great on the rocks, by the shot and makes a mean cocktail.

Tequila from Jalisco, Mexico
Made from Blue Weber Agaves
Blanco
Rests for 2 months. Crisp and clean with hints of citrus, vanilla, and sweet agave, with a long smooth finish.

Reposado
Aged for 7 months. Soft, slightly oaky with hints of caramel and cocoa. It has a silky texture with a medium to long smooth finish.

Añejo
Aged for 14 months. Pure and complex aroma, with soft caramel and vanilla notes. Perfect balance of sweetness from the Blue Weber agaves, with subtle hints of spice and barrel oak, with a lingering smooth finish.

Mezcal from Oaxaca, Mexico
Made from Espadín Agaves
Joven
Balanced and elegant. Hints of tamarind and pomegranate aromas are followed by herbal tones of fresh mint and dried oregano. Delicate notes of smoke and black pepper lead to a long silky finish.

Casa Cider
Yields one Cocktail

Ingredients
2 ounces Casamigos Reposado Tequila
1 ounces apple cider
1 ounces fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce agave nectar
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 pinch Cinnamon

Directions
Combine the tequila, apple cider, lemon juice, agave nectar, and Angostura Bitters in a cocktail shaker and shake to blend. Pour into a rocks or old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Garnish with thinly-cut apple wedge and star anise placed on top of the cocktail. Then sprinkle cinnamon over top.
