The Navy Grog CocktailThere are so many variations on the Navy Grog cocktail, that you might wonder if they are even the same drink. The story goes that this cocktail was created for British sailors, in the 18th century, to both preserve fresh water supplies and fight scurvy. It was re-popularized in the 40s in Tiki bars.

The basic cocktail is a combination of rum, grapefruit juice, and honey. And, despite the name, it is refreshing and quite tasty! We are enjoying this recipe below that calls for two kinds of rum.
