It’s official…Chabot Space & Science Center is reopening Friday, November 12!
They are welcoming us back with new exhibitions, renovations, and programs in a COVID-safe environment. All museum galleries, Courtyard, Planetarium, and Observatory will reopen at a reduced capacity.

Tickets will be timed, so all guests, including members, are highly encouraged to reserve advance tickets online.

Reopening weekend celebration
Kick-off Chabot’s reopening with a three-day Center-wide celebration! This exciting weekend features scientists from NASA’s Ames Research Center and their captivating work, as well as performances by the Piedmont Children’s Choir, drop-in workshops with community partners, space-themed collaborative builds, robotics demonstrations by teen Galaxy Explorers, and more. Friday, November 12th through Sunday, November 14th with extended hours. Included in the price of admission.

The Chabot Space and Science Center is located at 10000 Skyline Boulevard in Oakland, California.
