The Cranberry Smash, an amazing, winter drink originated with David Kwiatkowski at The Sugar House in Detroit. We discovered it in Inbibe Magazine.

Cranberry-Infused Gin
750 ml. dry gin
1 cup of fresh cranberries

Muddle the cranberries. Combine the bottle of dry gin in a quart-sized jar the cranberries. Cover, and let macerate for 1 week. Strain into a clean glass bottle.

Cranberry Smash
2 oz. cranberry-infused gin
1 teaspoon Demerara sugar
¼ of a fresh lemon, diced
1 sprig fresh rosemary
5-6 fresh cranberries

Combine the rosemary, cranberries, sugar and diced lemon in a shaker and muddle. Add the gin and shake hard with ice cubes. Strain over one large ice cube into a rocks glass and garnish with 3 fresh cranberries skewered on a rosemary sprig.
