We love to recommend a beer that is brewed in our own back yard. Drakes Brewing, in San Leandro, California, offers a  big, malty beast of a beer with a dense brownish head, a silky maltiness, and flavors of chocolate, licorice, and coffee. Drakonic is rounded out with a slightly dry finish.
