The New Parkway Theater

In order to save their home from foreclosure, a group of misfits set out to find a pirate’s ancient treasure.

The Goonies, to be held in The Hive parking lot adjacent to Drake’s Dealership, less than a block from the New Parkway. The lot opens at 7 PM, and the film starts when it’s sufficiently dark, most likely around 8:30.

Guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets, show up early to stake out a good spot, and purchase popcorn from the New Parkway’s rolling cart. Please note, outside alcohol is not permitted at this event, but beer and food will be available for purchase through Drake’s.

The New Parkway Theater is a community-centered cinema and pub located in Oakland’s Uptown district at 474 24th Street, Oakland, CA.
