Piedmont Movie in the Park returns next Friday, August 25th
Join Danny, Sandy, Kenickie, Rizzo, Frenchie and the gang as they say goodbye to summer and hello to a new school year at Rydell High! Is Danny and Sandy’s summer romance coming to the end, or is it just beginning?

Grease is a 1978 American musical romantic comedy film based on Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey’s musical of the same name. The film depicts the life of Rydell High School students Danny (John Travolta) and Sandy (Olivia Newton-John) in the late 1950s.

Grease was successful both critically and commercially. Its soundtrack album ended 1978 as the second-best selling album of the year in the United States.

All Piedmont Movie in the Park events are family-friendly and admission is free. Bring a blanket, a thermos, and some eats. Or, purchase snacks from their concession stand.

Grease is rated PG-13.
