Guittard chocolate is our favorite for baking and candy making. With its rich, creamy mouthfeel, genuine chocolate flavor, and smooth texture, we use it whenever our recipes call for chocolate—it takes your baking to new heights.

We have but one warning…whatever you are purchasing, get at least double what your recipe calls for. We find it almost impossible not to sample away this ingredient…delicious!

Guittard has been making chocolate locally…since the 1860s! Their tremendously high standards include a commitment to sustainability, fair trade, and working directly with small farmers.

Gourmet Chocolate Baking Bars
Semisweet Chocolate Baking Bars have 64% cacao. A complex chocolate with peaks of tart fruit and cherry top notes. Floral aromatics lead to an astringent lingering sensation with chocolatey endnotes.

Bittersweet Chocolate Baking Bars have 70% cacao. Deep chocolate flavors linger throughout with bright red fruit and cherry notes. A tart aftertaste lends to an astringency that helps carry the peaky endnotes of this bittersweet chocolate into a deep chocolate finish.

Unsweetened Chocolate Baking Bars have 100% cacao. A distinct liquor that delivers flavors of fruit and spices in a deep base chocolate. The bitterness gives way to a subtle floral sweetness adding a unique layer of complexity.

Milk Chocolate Organic Wafers with 38% cacao deliver a milky-light chocolate taste. Fruit and malty tones and unique complexity make it a favorite for baking and confectionery applications.

Bittersweet Chocolate Organic Wafers with 74% cacao have a bold chocolate flavor with spice and dried fruit notes with balanced sour and tannin undertones. They are ideal for baking, ice cream making, and confectionery applications.

Semisweet Chocolate Organic Wafers with 66% cacao have a base of deep chocolate which gives way to fresh berries and spice with lingering accents of jasmine. Perfect for baking, enrobing, and other confectionery applications.

Cocoa Powder for baking and drinking
Cocoa Rouge Unsweetened Cocoa Powder is 100% cacao. Favored by professional pastry chefs because of its intense bittersweet character, rich, deep-red color, robust, fudge-like flavor, and full chocolate essence. It is ideal in baked goods such as cakes and pastries. The intense yet subtle Dutched flavor provides a perfect complement to other ingredients.

Organic Natural Coco Powder is 100% cacao. This Organic Natural Cocoa packs a powerful punch. The natural processing retains the flavor-forward brightness of the organic beans that are used to make this powder. Combine that intense chocolate flavor with the high cocoa butter content, and you have a powder that’s sure to add depth and sophistication to a variety of applications. 

Grand Cacao Sweet Ground Chocolate is 53% cacao. Premium Collection Etienne chocolate is finely ground and added into fine-quality, old-fashioned, Dutch process cocoa powder to achieve intense chocolate flavor; a full-bodied, creamy texture; rich, red-brown, dark chocolate color; and comforting, homemade, pudding-like, baked chocolate aromas
