Stock up for the holiday–Piedmont Grocery will be closed on July 4th. You won’t want to be shopping anyway, because there is so much going on.

Let’s begin with the Piedmont July 4th Parade starting at 11 AM at Highland Avenue and Park Way. It finishes at Piedmont Park where the celebration continues through the afternoon. Frontage Road by the bay in Emeryville and Berkeley is closed in the evening for fireworks. Park remotely, wear layers and join your East Bay neighbors to view fireworks all up and down the Bay. There will be a fireworks display on the Berkeley Marina beginning at 9:30 PM. Pack a thermos with something warm to drink.
