Oakland Greek FestivalIt’s great to be Greek—even if just for a weekend!
At the Greek Festival, you will experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of a proud people whose cultural history goes back over 4,500 years. Experience authentic foods, costumes, and dances so that you can become Greek for a short while. You are invited to participate in a celebration of Hellenic Culture.

Music drives the Greeks in every aspect of life. Throughout the festival, attendees can hear the pulsating sounds of Greek folk music that makes the feet fly.

Six groups will present Greek folk dance performances throughout the Festival at two locations. Their costumes are representative of different regions of Greece.
