Swiss Chalet Cocktail

What are you drinking après-ski?
Or, to stave off the cold, wet weather in the East Bay? The Swiss Chalet Cocktail is made with hot chocolate, Baileys, peppermint schnapps, and topped with whipped cream. It tastes like the best parts of winter.

At ski resorts around the world, a warm beverage like our Swiss Chalet Cocktail is just the answer. Nothing can compare to a warm, boozy cocktail to reheat your chilly bones.

Swiss Chalet Cocktail Recipe
Adapted from Liquor.com
Yields 1 cocktail

Ingredients
1-1/2 ounces Baileys Irish cream liqueur
1 ounce peppermint schnapps
8 ounces hot chocolate (we like Silly Cow Farms)
Whipped cream for garnish

Directions
Warm the glass
Pour boiling water into an Irish Coffee mug to warm the glass, then discard the water.

Mix the hot chocolate
We like mixing the hot chocolate in a separate container—a jar or a mixing cup—so as to keep the cup and the presentation more pristine. If you wish, you can skip this step and mix it directly into the mug.

Mix the cocktail
Pour the Baileys, peppermint schnapps, and hot chocolate into the mug.

Top with whipped cream.
