The Killer Bee is a delicious and spicy summertime cocktail. Great for a picnic on the beach or a backyard barbecue.

The Killer Bee
Yields 1 cocktail
Our favorite ginger beer is Bundaberg, and for the rye, we recommend Bulleit.

Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces rye
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/2 ounce honey
Ginger beer
Angostura bitters
2 slices jalapeño

Directions
Muddle the jalapeño slices in a cocktail shaker. Add in the rye, lemon juice, and honey and shake well to incorporate the honey. Strain over ice into an old fashioned glass. And, top with the ginger beer and a dash of bitters.

You can garnish with lemons, skewered slices of ginger, or both.
