World Series Eats

World Series EatsThe first game of the World Series starts tonight. Just because our local teams are missing out on the festivities doesn’t mean you have to. Here are some ideas for great World Series eats to help you root on your preferred team.

Dodger Fans
The Dodger Dog is iconic. And, no Dodger game would be complete without it. To re-create it at home, pick up some Caspar’s Famous hot dogs (they have to be the long ones), some fresh buns and the toppings of your choice.

If hot dogs aren’t your style, remember this is L.A., so trendy food is in abundance. Poke bowls are a favorite at Dodger Stadium and they aren’t too complicated to make. A little bit of Ahi tuna and some simple ingredients and you’re all set. Also, they are great on a hot night.

Still haven’t found what you are looking for? You can never go wrong with a big plate of nachos!

For the beer? Anything Californian will do though Lagunitas is always a good choice.

Houston Fans
If you are rooting on the Astros there is no better way to do it than with some BBQ. While brisket is king in the Lone Star state, you can never go wrong with a Texas-size steak. Our boys in the butcher department can point you towards the perfect rub or marinade to go with it.

If you are looking for something with a little more oompf, Tex-Mex dining is the perfect way to spice up your World Series viewing. Our hot bar and grab and go sections are loaded with plenty of options from enchiladas to tamales and rellenos.

There is no wrong beer to pair with either of the above options. But Dos Equis compliments both.

For those undecided in their loyalties we still have plenty of grab n go dinners, chips, salsas, dips, and drinks to keep you full while watching the Fall Classic.
