Half Moon Bay FestivalWorld Pumpkin Capital Celebrates The Great and Almighty Gourd

This weekend one of our favorite fall festivals takes place in the World Pumpkin Capital of Half Moon Bay. Celebrate a bountiful fall harvest and autumn splendor. Festivities include:
Gigantically enormous, heavyweight champion pumpkins
Four stages of live music
The Great Pumpkin Parade
A bone-chilling Haunted House
Harvest-inspired crafts
Homestyle foods
Pumpkin carver Farmer Mike sculpting a monster 1,200+ pound pumpkin
Pie-eating and costume contests
Pumpkin carving for fun
Mosaic pumpkin sculpture
“Smashing Pumpkins: Battle of the Bands”
Zip-line and bungee jump
Wine tasting, pumpkin-infused ales, and pumpkin-flavored artisanal cocktails
And on Sunday-only “Made on the Coast” local artists block with fine art and live music.

October 17th and 18th from 9 AM to 5 PM
Historic Main Street between Mill and Spruce Streets
Festival admission is free.
