On November 19th, the Bay Area will be a house divided as the California Golden Bears take on the Stanford Cardinal in the 125th Big Game.

of one of the most iconic events in college football history known universally as The Play.

The rivalry between the Bay Area’s Pac-12 schools dates back to 1892 and is the sixth-longest active running series between two Football Bowl Subdivision teams. The Big Game has been determined by a touchdown or less 54 times and on five occasions has been won on the final play, including The Play in 1982. Whoever wins will give their fanbase a big emotional boost.

Kickoff for the 125th Big Game is at 2:30 on Saturday at FTX Field at Memorial Stadium in Berkeley. Or you can tune in on Pac-12 Networks and KNBR 1050 radio. If you want to go in person, tickets are available on the Cal Bears website.
