The Ngolo Cocktail is an African-Inspired beverage that brings forth the flavors of West Africa. There are multiple variations on the ingredients. So, we chose a recipe that is easy to duplicate with what is readily available in our market.

African Ngolo Cocktail Recipe
Yields one cocktail

Ingredients
2 ounces bourbon
1ounce fresh lemon juice
1 ounce maple syrup
1 12-ounce can of ginger beer
Dash of bitters
Mint sprig for garnish

Directions
Mix the first five ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain over ice in a Collins glass or tall tumbler. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

Variation: You can add a splash of passionfruit or guava juice for its fruity flavor.
