Eight-blocks of Uptown Telegraph are blocked off for a street festival including live music, food trucks and vendors. Simultaneously, from 6 to 9 PM, 21 member galleries and 9 mixed-use venues are open to the public and hold artists receptions.

If you are more interested in getting in to see the art, you can follow this schedule: Visit Uptown galleries and get dinner earlier in the evening (5 to 7 PM), and then head down the corridor to enjoy the Mid-Town, Old Oakland, and Jack London venues. They have some wonderful shows. For ease of travel, use Broadway, not Telegraph, to access 26th, 25th and 23rd Street galleries.

There is also a Saturday Stroll every Saturday with 17 galleries and 8 mixed-use venues open from 1 to 5 PM. Many galleries also hold special events on Saturdays, including receptions, artists talks, concerts, and tours. There is so much art going on in Oakland these days!
