Oakland First FridaysOakland First Fridays is a monthly celebration of arts, culture, food, and community.

Come to downtown Oakland on April 1st from 5 to 9 PM on Telegraph Avenue from West Grand to 27th Street. Oakland First Fridays is a free event open to people of all ages. And, they keep vendor fees low to create opportunities for Oakland’s small businesses and artistic entrepreneurs. Each month has a theme.

This month, we come together to better understand how we can make eco-conscious decisions that will have a lasting impact on our environment.

Performers
The Oakland School for the Arts from 5:30 to 6 PM

SambaFunk! from 6:10 to 7:10 PM
SambaFunk! is a collective of dancers, musicians, artists, and community members, bringing to life the essence of Carnaval in their performances.

Dancing group at 7:15 PM

B Family & Friends from 7:30 to 8:30 PM.
A 5 piece band that goes way back and is currently rocking together to play every genre of music for the soul.

The Kids Zone will feature colorful planter kits, flower bookmarks, and coloring books that are fun for children and adults alike!

The Homeplace is bringing its famous living room karaoke sessions for attendees to sing their hearts out to their favorite tunes!

Side Attractions
Turf Inc. street dancers, SoulBeatz Oakland providing a community drumming circle, Artismobilus collaborative art wall with the theme of being green.
