Piedmont Movie in the Park presents Moana — this Saturday, September 15th at 7:30 PM

In Ancient Polynesia, when a terrible curse incurred by the Demigod Maui reaches Moana’s island, she answers the Ocean’s call to seek out the Demigod to set things right.

The film tells the story of Moana, the strong-willed daughter of a chief of a Polynesian village, who is chosen by the ocean itself to reunite a mystical relic with a goddess. When a blight strikes her island, Moana sets sail in search of Maui, a legendary demigod, in the hope of returning the heart of Ti Fiti and saving her people.

Moana (2016) is a computer-animated musical fantasy-adventure film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.

All Piedmont Movie in the Park events are family-friendly and admission is free. Bring a blanket, a thermos, and some eats. Or, purchase snacks from their concession stand.

Moana is rated PG.
