The SF International Film Festival is a fantastic opportunity to see new and award-winning films. It features more than 180 films and live events with upwards of 100 filmmakers in attendance and nearly two dozen awards presented for excellence in film craft.

Founded in 1957, the SFFilm

Festival is the longest-running film festival in the Americas. Held each spring for two weeks and highly anticipated by loyal audiences, the festival is an extraordinary showcase of cinematic discovery and innovation in the Bay Area.

SFFilm also presents year-round events along with ongoing artist development and youth education.

April 10–23, 2019 at various venues in San Francisco and two in the East Bay: BAMPFA and Oakland’s Grand Lake Theater.
