There is a great series of summer concerts at Wente Vineyards in Livermore.

For more than 30 years, The Concerts at Wente Vineyards have showcased world-renowned entertainers in the winery’s picturesque natural amphitheater. Go early and enjoy pre-concert sunset dinneroutdoors or in The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards.

This year’s lineup includes names like Smokey Robinson, Dwight Yoakam, Seal, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and Kenny Rogers’ Final World Tour.

Gates to the concert seating open at 6:00 PM, and most performance begins at 8:15 PM. You can make a restaurant dinner reservation or enjoy a buffet dinner. Guests with Terrace or Orchestra seating may purchase a bite to eat at The Grill, overlooking the 18th green, prior to the performance. There are various bars that sell wine, soft drinks, water and snacks. Port, Cognac, fine cigars and wine by the glass or bottle are available for purchase in the garden bar.

You can also make a weekend of it an stay at a nearby hotel.
