Our local food bank does an immense service. Today, 1 in 4 of our neighbors in Alameda County experience hunger.

Food is a fundamental human right. Let’s work towards a stronger, more nourished Alameda County, where no one worries about where their next meal will come from.

How can I help the Alameda County Community Food Bank?

1. Volunteer at a food distribution center in Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, and Tri-Valley. Email volunteer@accfb.org with “Food Distributions” in the subject line if you are interested in helping.
