A great way to spend your weekend.

The Alameda County Fair has got it all—from roller coasters and Ferris wheel rides on the midway, to fairground eats and sweet treats, to fireworks, to horse racing, to all the booths, livestock and workshops.

There is also a nightly concert series with a solid lineup. It features Tower of Power, Foghat, Tanya Tucker, and The Beach Boys as well as rhythm and blues, funk, Christian rock, and lots of musical styles. The concerts are free with regular admission to the fair.
