The Backyard HammockThis tropically-flavored drink has a split base of rum and Scotch. The curaçao adds a citrusy note and the coconut water smoothness. Make certain to freeze the coconut water ice cubes in plenty of time before serving.

The Backyard Hammock
Yields one cocktail

1 ounce Ron Abuelo 12 Year Gran Reserva Rum
1 ounce Jonnie Walker Red Label Blended Scotch Whisky
1/2 ounce C2O Coconut Water
1/4 ounce Hiram Walker Orange Curacao Cocktail Mixer
1 bar spoon simple syrup
2 dashes Fee Brothers 1864 Aztec Chocolate Bitters

Do Ahead
Make the coconut water ice cubes by freezing coconut water in an ice cube mold. Best if done the day before. You want the cubes to be frozen solid.

When ready to make the drink, combine the rum, whisky, coconut water, curaçao, simple syrup, and bitters in a shaker with regular ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over the frozen coconut water ice.
