Your joy drives Black growth! Sunday, February 25th will be a bold celebration of community and culture. Thousands of people showcase their joy, fuel Black businesses and Black artists each year. Be a part of the 7th Annual Black Joy Parade experience that builds up and gives back to our amazing community.

What to expect

  • 200+ Black-owned vendors including food, drinks, clothing, handmade items, and more.
  • 2 stages of Black performances, including The Black Joy Choir
  • Activities for the whole family at Lil Joy for Kids, Games n’ Grooves, and Healing Village.
  • The Black Joy Parade official merch
  • And of course the largest Black Joy Parade procession in the world!

Admissions are free for all so bring your friends and family!
If you can, please donate via Eventbrite or here ahead of time to support the movement. Black Joy Parade is a volunteer-run org and a registered 501c3. All donations go to support local artists and the production of the event.

Weather
The Black Joy Parade is a rain or shine event. If at any point the weather makes it impossible or unsafe to hold our event, they will send an update to the community.

7th Annual Black Joy Parade
Sunday, February 25th starting at 12:30 PM
14th and Franklin in downtown Oakland
Following the parade, join the festival until 7 PM.
The main entrance to the festival is 19th and Franklin Streets.

Admissions are free for all so bring your friends and family! If you’re able, please donate via Eventbrite to support the movement. Black Joy Parade is a volunteer-run organization and a registered 501c3. All donations go to support local artists and the production of the event.
