Valentine’s Dinner Menu

Photo of rose petals in the shape of a heart for Valentine's Dinner MenuValentine’s Day falls on a Tuesday this year. Even in the middle of the week, you can put together an amazing Valentine’s Dinner Menu that is simple to prepare. We have everything at the store that you need to make it come together.

For starters, we have flowers, candles, and Caspari paper plates and napkins in gorgeous seasonal prints. Attending to these types of details will make it feel like a real celebration.

Appetizer
For the appetizer, pick up your favorite variety of Tsar Nicoulai Caviar, a wedge of Supreme Brie, and a Rustic Baguette from Acme Bread Company.

Or, serve some pre-cooked prawns from our seafood counter along with a bowl of E. Waldo Ward Seafood Cocktail Sauce for dipping.

Main course
We have house-made fresh Crab Cakes at the seafood counter that are delicious with the Scampi Sauce from Stonewall Kitchen. If you want to skip the seafood, pick up a nice steak or fillet for your sweetie. And, there is fresh asparagus in the market which is delicious steamed or roasted and served with Reese Hollandaise Sauce.

Drinks
Sparkling wine is perfect for Valentine’s day. We recommend Schramsberg Blanc de Blanc with its toasty nose, and flavors of almonds, baked pears, and spiced apples. And, if you are looking for non-alcoholic bubbly, you can’t go wrong with Martinelli‘s sparkling cider.

Dessert
For dessert, you can go one of two ways. Piedmont’s Own Tuxedo Truffle Mousse Cake is yummy and decadent. Or pick up a pint of McConnell‘s Chocolate-Covered Strawberries flavored Ice Cream and serve it with a garnish of Bissinger’s Sea Salt Caramel Hearts.

Whatever you decide to serve for your Valentine’s Dinner Menu, we hope you have a lovely evening!
