Beach Picnic!

Beach Picnic!

Evening Beachin’
The evening hours are long this time of year. So, why not squeeze a little more out of your day and plan an evening picnic at a local beach?

Just drop by the store and grab some portable supplies. The trick is to make it as quick and easy as possible. Then bundle up and watch the last rays of the evening sun on the water.

  1. Grab one of our delicious Grab N Go Salads from the Deli department.
  2. Pick out your favorite Acme baguette.
  3. Choose some great cheeses from the around the world in our Cheese Department like Parrano, Suprême Brie, Laura Chenel Chèvre, or Marin French Cheese Company’s Petite Breakfast.
  4. Throw in some Salami or Prosciutto
  5. Summer stone fruit is at its peak. Try some sweet and juicy peaches or plums or grab some of our ready-cut fruit to make it easy.
  6. Grab a chilled Rose or a Sauvignon Blanc or a cold six-pack from our fridge.
  7. And, for dessert, a bar of Barlovento Chocolate or a package of Kelly’s Kookies.

We have so many amazing, Bay Area beaches. Some are closer than others, so save the list for weekend excursions, too. Here are some of our favorite beaches without long hikes to the sand.
